Since 31 December 2020, a compulsory licence for private individuals and companies to fly outdoors with a drone(an unmanned aerial vehicle), the EU drone licence, has been in place. Training and an examination are required for this. An operator number is also mandatory if you own a drone or an unmanned aerial vehicle with a camera. 

Because we also want to visualise our projects with a drone, we bought a drone and applied for an operating licence. Tom then obtained the A1-A3 and A2 licences. Are you curious what these licences mean? Read more on the site of the Rijksoverheid.
